DayZ: Chernarus

If you are a gamer you have heard of DayZ. One of the most anticipated video games of 2013.The game, that sold more than 4 million copies.
I was honored to work as a Senior\Lead Level Artist and Level Designer in this project from the beginning until 2017, on the world called "Chernarus". Chernarus is a fictional former-Soviet Republic country in DayZ.
And my baby :)
My responsibility was a design of locations, set-dressing, ideas, sketching, coordination with 3D artists, producers, and junior designers.
And we made it! We made it together. Thanks.
Still one of the largest open-world ever created for the games, 225 km2 in size, populated with millions and millions of objects.
With forests and cities of real scale. And everything in a shooter-survival game.
I've never actually posted anything from DayZ.
Why? Well, according to modern standards graphics might be looking a bit old and odd.
But keep in mind this is 2013, and keep in mind it's the enormous size.
